If you are looking for support in relation to someone where you are concerned about their behaviour or quality of life, we can help. We know that not every company has the resources or need for a full time PBS practitioner or for a monthly consultancy contract. This is why we offer the PBS Amber Sessions.
What is a PBS Amber Session?
A PBS Amber session is a 50-minute video call with an experienced PBS professional. Session are aimed at services, schools or families who are struggling with behaviours of concern presented by a person with additional support needs where risks to the person or others is low.
How does an Amber Session work?
Make contact with us and we will email you with a booking link so that you can book a time with us that is convenient for you.
Our consultant will ask you to outline the main issue that you are looking to discuss.
Consent
The Amber Sessions are usually for people who cannot ask for support themselves, who do not have the capacity to consent to the consultation occurring. We will ask you about this at the beginning of the Amber Session.
Booking Sessions
You can book individual sessions, but we recommend at least three sessions.
More sessions means that we can help you to understand what is happening for the person and also plan specific supports which should help.
What is the Cost?
An Amber session is £85.00. We offer a discount for booking more than three sessions.
