With qualifications aligned to the PBS Competence Framework and endorsements from respected bodies like Skills for Care, we bring deep knowledge and practical experience to every partnership.
Redstone PBS was founded in 2012 by Kate Strutt, a dedicated Clinical Psychologist with 14 years of experience working in Community Learning Disability Teams. Driven by her understanding and comittment, Kate recognised that Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) held the transformative potential for people at risk of behaviours of concern, making a big difference in their lives.
Determined to develop Redstone, Kate sought guidance from renowned mentors in the PBS field and pursued a Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis—the behavioral science at the heart of PBS.
Today, PBS has earned a reputation as a values-driven, evidence-based approach that not only helps reduce behaviors of concern but also enriches lives by enhancing quality of life.
Kate has developed the team at Redstone from practitioners whose experience is wide ranging from working directly in support services and schools as well as completing higher level qualifications in PBS. At Redstone PBS, the values and practice of PBS continues to guide the teams work every day.
